Dyer Kitchen

After their home burnt down on Christmas day, the homeowners were determined to have space to hold Christmas the following year. This is a new build home with large doorways and open spaces to accommodate a wheelchair.

The kitchen is two-toned with the lowers being a soft grey and the upper cabinets go to the ceiling with a shaker-style crown molding all in bright-white. This homeowner does not own one dish the same, and really wanted to show them off, so every upper is clear glass to allow her coloured dishes to shine. The peninsula is large enough to seat the grandkids with a beautiful quartz countertop throughout, and the spice pullout next to the stove is a great way to add function to the space.  The soft-grey marbled tile backsplash really ties everything together, blending the upper and lower colours into the walls.
