Edith Cavell Kitchen Renovation

This nautical cottage is a traveller’s dream! The owner purchased this small gem on the beaches of Lake Erie and wanted it to stand out for renters staying in it. The kitchen is smaller but is packed with all the essentials for every weekender’s needs. With full-sized stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops, it feels like a home away from home. Maximizing the storage by having the cabinets to the ceiling and plenty of drawers for cookware. Also keeping the microwave off the counters and having an over the range microwave is a great space saver and it is dual purposed as a range hood too. The owner’s final touches were to leave the original paneling on the walls, and to paint them a nautical navy matching décor throughout the cottage.
